TTS August 2007

Last nite, TTS at Pelita Nasik Kandaq Jln Ampang. Attendees were Bandit, Mat Over, Boot, Gegek, Mat Gan, Mat Dondeng, Bean, Joejo (did I miss anyone?) and last not least yg diraikan Papalaats sempena keberangkatan beliau pergi merantau ke negara Bahrain. We gonna miss u bro! Flight this Friday, sape nak ucap selamat jalan boleh tunggu di KLIA jam 12 mlm.

Congratulations to Bandit & Jas for their newborn son. Born in Gleneagles Specialist Jln Ampang last week. Gynaecologist was OP Dr Alex Matthews. The same doctor did cesarean section for my second child 4 years ago.

Nama boleh tahan canggih jugak... Akif Azkia b. Azly Ahmad Anwar... 5As. That's the Alpha Coy spirits, both sons nama start dgn huruf "A". Will get some pictures from Bandit to be put on this blog. Omedetou gozaimasu from all us!

Dear OPs,

With great regret I would like to inform you that OP Mohd Haniff bin Mohammad, 68-70, retired Army Lt Col, Artillery who was the OC of Boys Wing (1988-1990) passed away this morning (23/7/07).

Also, with great regret I would like to inform you that OP Ahmad Zubir Zainal (known to most as OP Zoob) D Coy, 67-69 (Kutu batch member) has passed away while taking part in PD Triathlon on 22/7/07. OP Zoob has grown close to our batchmates who are involved in cycling and multi disciplined sports. His personality and fitness has been an inspiration to us.

Our salute to both Allahyarham Haniff and Allahyarham Zubir, they have have inspired us and made an impact on our lives. Semoga mereka di tempatkan bersama golongan yang soleh.

B. PD Gathering 070707

There'll be a gathering scheduled in PD on the above date. Activities would include a bicycle ride from Sg Besi (RMC) to PD (FMC). To date, Royal 8ths keen to join are: Ala, Budin, Achot, Boot, Lebet and Bandit. Please note that this event is fully sponsored. For more info, call the organizing committee (012 6253623).

C. RETT (Royal 8th Tioman Trip)

Aturcara:
July 12- RV Pudu Raya 2200 hrs (Bus Mersing- KL)
13/7- AM arrival Mersing, ferry to Tioman. Check in resort.. R&R… lunch.. after lunch, hike to waterfall. Evening beach football/voleyball.. BBQ dinner
14/7- snorkel session.. off to secluded island for half day.. BBQ dinner..
15/7- AM ferry to mersing, and return bus to KL at noon.. Evening arrival Pudu Raya

We will try to make the trip a close to an Annual Camp/Nasi Mentah enviroment. Please keep your diaries blocked for the above. More details(cost, to do list, etc) will be posted as soon as we get more info. Boot will be going to Tioman to recce the site.

D. PD Triathlon

Triathlon will be held at Admiral Marina. Ala, Kam and Lebet (ORANG BESI) will be doing a full Tri on 21 July. For more info, go to www.triathlonmalaysia.com/ There will be other OPs taking part in the Tri, and there are the casual lot doing the sprint event (maybe): Budin, Achot and Bandit..
